FRANKLINVILLE, NY - GEOFFREY A. ANDERSON of Franklinville,
died unexpectedly Tuesday (March 2,1999)
at Strong
Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Born October 12, 1978, in Fort
Hood,
Texas, he was the son of Danita & (Rick) Colley of
Franklinville and James Anderson of Duke Center, PA.
Mr.Anderson was a 1997 graduate of Ten Broeck Academy{Franklinville Central School}in Franklinville. He was a 2nd year student at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, majoring in computer technology.
He was a six year member of the Franklinville Central School cross country team and was team captain his senior year. He was also a six year member of the school's track team and was also team captain as a senior. He was a member of the Striders Track Club of Franklinville.
Mr. Anderson had attended the Humphrey Baptist Church.
Survivors besides his mother and stepfather of Franklinville and his father of Duke center include: four brothers, Joseph Anderson, Joshua Anderson, Logan Colley and Ricky W. Colley, all at home in Franklinville; two sisters, Megan Colley and Erin Colley, both at home in Franklinville; a stepbrother, Stephan Colley of Hinsdale; three half brothers and a half sister, all at home in Duke Center; his maternal grandparents, Jean and Kenneth A. Blade of Olean; his maternal great-grandmother, Dorothy Blade of Olean; his paternal stepgrandmother, Lorraine Schmelzle of Lockport; his paternal grandmother, Agnes Anderson of Olean; his paternal grandfather, Robert Anderson of California; and many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
There will be no public visitation. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service Saturday (March 6, 1999) at 1 p.m. in the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, on the corner of Green and Pine Streets in Franklinville. The Rev. David Wheatley, pastor, will officiate.
